JUST A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER DURING THE DAY.

• There are just two things an Alcoholic doesn’t like ---“the way things are and change.”
• How high you bounce is more important than how hard you fall.

• Humility: You can’t save your face and your ass at the same time.
• The trouble with staying home and isolating is you get a lot of bad advice.
• A 12-Step meeting is like an orgy. When it’s over you feel better, but you’re not sure
who to thank.
• The past: it’s okay to look back but don’t stare.
• People places and things: If you hang out in a barbershop, sooner or later your goanna
get a haircut.
• Change: If you’re eating a dirt sandwich, chances are you ordered it.
• Acceptance: knowing the past will never get better.
• The law of oversell: when putting cheese in a mousetrap, always leave room for the
mouse.
• The law of reality: never get into fights with ugly people. They have nothing to lose.
• The law of self sacrifice: when you starve with a tiger, the tiger starves last.
• I have a life that’s as perfect as my attitude
